Re- imagining the South Asian narrative, our heritage and identity Amesh celebrates his first visit to India. Overwhelmed in Curiosity and excitement through the smells and sounds of the land there is a sense of familiarity, comfort and home.

Working with Sarang has been years in planning. Shot at dusk against a bustling backdrop of the ever expanding metropolis Mumbai. Amidst the chaos, the old town of Bandra echos a sanctuary for all its communities. Exploring gender expression and the male form signature silhouettes are mixed – matched to re-discover a new purpose.

Artisanal knitwear, delicate crochet and rich handwoven textiles in jewel tones hand made in Sri Lanka travel across oceans through Colombo, London, Berlin and now India. Finding its own place & space in a global village of shared ideas, feelings and friendships. A journey of hope, discovery and new beginnings.
